Our friends Ensemble were happy to present Dublin based Art/Soul Artist Loah!
All to celebrate the YES vote.
The Combination of the influences garnered from her Sieria Leone heritage as well her classical training has, in a short time, made Sallay Garnett (AKA Loah) become a force to be reckoned with. A melting pot of Jazz, Soul Folk and gospel pop all with mixed with West African flavoring is a combination the Dublin music scene has been yearning for. Despite Loah being relatively young Sallay Garnett is no new comer to the Irish music having recorded with Kila and co-written someone new on Hozier on his eponymous first album. Mark these words, this is an artist that has bright future ahead of her.
We were very happy to have Dublin power pop veteran Paddy Hanna and his full band will be in BelloBar to celebrate the release his 7” Vinyl Austria.

You can get their most recent single ‘Never Had It So Good’ here
A colourful concert led by Congolese acoustic guitarist and Niwel Tsumbu’s exciting new group RIZA, full of rich African rhythmic excitement and featuring the sweet vocals of Sallay and Emma Garnett (who lead their own bands Loah and Feather respectively). Tsumbu has been resident in Ireland for over 10 years and is joined by Irishmen Eamon Cagney (percussion) and Paddy Groenland (acoustic guitar).
Support group Walrus was an instrumental guitar trio that draws from jazz, soul, blues and Americana. An inter-continental band, they met while studying at the prestigious Berklee College of music in 2009 and each year regroup this side of the Atlantic. Walrus have been described as posessing an almost telepathic understanding – evident in their collective improvisations.
